Maria Pataleta

Maria Pataleta or Tantrum Mary in English, is the story of a little girl with a certain tendency to have enormous tantrums whenever she has to do something that she doesn't like, things like having a bath, blowing her nose or simply eating a plate of baked beans on toast. One day her mum, desperate to find a solution, goes to the local library in search of a book that might be able to offer some help. And she finds it. After that day, strange and amazing things start to happen...always at the exact time when Maria Pataleta is having one her tantrums. Why does she never get to see them, and what will she do about it other than having another mighty tantrum? Well, maybe it is time to stop throwing paddies altogether!
The story has been illustrated by the wonderful Maria Jose Galian, and we are currently looking for a publisher or an agent interested in the book.
